X -> Drupal, Migrating to Drupal was never so easy

Your techie friend at the bar tells you about this awesome CMS/Framework that powers whitehouse, Al jazeera and millions of other awesome sites and he continues to brag how easy it is to add new functionality and all about the awesome ecosystem. So much so, it leaves you wanting more. You want this thing called Drupal to run your site but not sure how to make that transition. In this session I'll talk about the most painful part of the transition i.e. migrating entities ( content, users, information architecture etc ) and we will do it all using Migrate v2, godsent API to migrate content from any system ( yes from ASP.NET as well ) into Drupal. We will do all of this using a sample case study in which we migrate a rails application and its data to Drupal, we will discuss the following:

• Mapping entities from old system to Drupal.
